Pitti Uomo – Special Edition

Every year, hundreds of men’s fashion designers and thousands of buyers representing the bulk of the world’s retailers, descend on Florence for Pitti Uomo’s winter and summer editions.  This January is no different and despite a growing global crisis, Florence is experiencing the excitement and congestion of Pitti.

This year’s highlights include the return of Laura Biagiotti to Pitti, a highly exclusive launch of Thom Browne’s latest collection and, what may turn out to the most exciting event, ParCrust…a runway show with the Paris team of freestyle runners direct from the set of Luc Bresson’s latest film (see earlier post, “Parkour at Pitti“).

This special feature edition, will provide a feel for the show itself, feature a handful of brands that truly understand men’s fashion and, of course, exclusive coverage of ParCrust from inside the parking garage.
